Terms and Conditions

You must hold a current UK provisional or full driving licence for category B car and produce this on your first lesson.

It is your responsibility to inform the instructor of  any medical or other issue that may affect your fitness to drive, including declaring medication, and also to inform the instructor of any reason why your licence is revoked or otherwise not valid. Instructor will ask these questions.

You must be able to read a number plate at the required legal distance with or without corrective lenses (glasses or contact lenses). If lenses are needed then you must wear them when driving.

Driving lessons are to be paid for in advance to secure booking.

Cancellation of lessons must be given with at least 48 hours notice either by phone, Whatsapp or email, this to be acknowledged by the instructor. If this notice is not given the lesson will be chargeable at normal lesson rate.

If you are late for your lesson at the agreed place and time the instructor will wait 15 minutes whilst trying to make contact with you. If no contact can be made  the instructor will leave and the lesson will be chargeable. Allowances for the instructor to be late due to traffic conditions or mechanical failure etc may result in lesson time changes or cancellation, this will not result in a loss of lesson fee.

There can be no responsibility on the part of the instructor for events out of their control such as DVSA cancelling a test. The lesson is to be paid for by the pupil who may then be able to claim their expenses from DVSA.

It is the responsibility of the pupil to bring their Driving Licence to the actual test.

The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of the dual controlled car if the pupil is not up to a satisfactory standard of driving and for any other reason including illness,  alcohol/drugs. This will be in the interests of public safety.

Please do not ask to take your test to just “have a go”.

By making payment you will be accepting the above terms and conditions.
